Mad rain is pounding down, the wind is howling
I’m waiting for salvation to arrive.
Don’t know what’s out there; darkness all around me.
Don’t know if I am dead or alive.
I hear the thunder & I see the lightning
Mad rain just keeps on coming down & down.
There’s not a thing that I can do to stop it.
I guess that I’ll eventually drown
The future’s looking just a bit uncertain.
Wonder if this mad rain will last for long.
